GAZA PALESTINE - GARTH HEWITT

A brand new EP from Garth Hewitt in response to the recent events in Gaza. Following an incredible response to 'They've Cancelled Christmas In Bethlehem, which has to date received 51,000 hits on YouTube, Garth has released another video 'Broken Heart of Gaza', which is also the first song on this CD. As well as this it includes a song by Martyn Joseph written about the Gaza attack called 'Five Sisters', and a song by Reem Kelani, a lament called 'Qasidah of Return'.

All proceeds to Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza. Amos Trust is a long term supporter of Al Ahli hospital through the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem. Garth's songs will appeal musically to country and roots music fans, and he is joined on this release by ever-popular songwriter Martyn Joseph as well as Reem Kelani.

ARTIST PROFILE:
Songwriter and author Garth Hewitt is an Anglican Priest and a social activist with a strong commitment to human rights. He has been writing and recording songs for 30 years, and it has been his experiences of travelling around the world to many situations of poverty and conflict that have made him particularly committed to issues of justice and peace.
