TOO BROKEN TO BREAK - FONO

So we’ll leave the unassuming roots and focus instead on the band’s recent past. Having made San Diego their new home, Fono have found plenty of success. They’ve toured and performed with the likes of Goo Goo Dolls, Bon Jovi, Robert Plant and more. Their debut release ‘Comes Around, Goes Around’ sold in excess of 70,000 and their follow up – Too Broken To Break – has received the industry nod of approval by being mixed by world renowned producer Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Feeder, Pixies, Radiohead) and mastered, by Bill Dooley (Madonna, Deftones).

So what can you expect? Eleven radio ready hits, neatly sewn together and wrapped up in red duct tape. Fusions of epic choruses, wide-eyed fade-outs and guitars big enough to hide a house under. There’s something potent yet personal about the tracks – everyday tales dressed up in stadium lights. What’s next? European tour dates are being pinned down while the album’s spring release will do more than its fair share of ground prep. Expect to see and hear a whole lot more from Fono, and a few more mentions of Milton Keynes as people find out about their past.
